Founded in 1984, Capitol Hill Community Services (CHCS) started helping the homeless have a good hot meal on just one day a week. Over time the need has grown and we have expanded to our current sites that serve an average of 4,400 hot meals every month. A Community-based agency, our only program is providing reliable, nutritious meals. The agency is governed by a 14 member Board of Directors who volunteer their time to make sure CHCS fulfills its mission.
